Dear friends,

i couldnt believe, i told one person,
the next day, the whole world knew..
tsk tsk tsk

so, at last, as you might have heard
and as you might have talked about behind my back (“,)

today is my official last day
after over four years of growing together with the secretariat

With you all,
we have been through good times and bad times.
many times, I’m the one who gives you bad times,
but you know that I also bring you good times

With you all,
we have been through high day and slow day
many times, I’m the one who slows you down
but you know that I can also be one to speed you up

love me, loathe me, over the years
we really dont have to like each other
if we don’t and i will not force you to
just to get the work done
you will hear me say

well for sure,
I’m gonna miss your company, tomorrow and the day after
but I guess that’s good….
rather than being here everyday and bitch about it, no? ;p

arent you glad or sad…
I can no longer yell at you in meetings or make you laugh
I can no longer drive all of you crazy or lead you to hysterical insanity 
but if you need one, please don’t hesitate to ask ;p

So yes…. farewell now… but this is not yet good-bye

don’t miss me yet
because I will still be around… to try to clean my desk…
now u know that it can take… serious labour time!!!!
so the next person, can at least see…. the surface

but then I seriously think,
we will not miss each other that much after that

work will carry us away
routines will keep each of us busy
our times together will just be a shadow
hidden somewhere, in a stack of papers
waiting to be recycled

in the end
let’s just hope that life
does not pass us by too quickly
for us to re-appreciate our friendship
that i do think
is simply beyond - ‘just work-related’
